Job Title: Flexible Community Podiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a Category B local prison holding male adults from 18+. As a Flexible Community Podiatrist, you will work 12 hours a month, providing high-quality care to patients with complex and/or chronic presentations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat patients with a range of conditions, including diabetic patients, wound management, MSK pathologies, and nail surgery.
  • Determine clinical diagnosis and treatment, maintaining accurate records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals.
  • Contribute to the development of the MSK Health in Justice Team, comprising physiotherapists and podiatrists working in 52 prisons across the country.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration with post-registration experience assessing and treating a range of conditions.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
