Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Glenshire Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing our accounts function and shaping our finance processes to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial controls to ensure robust reporting and monitoring of finances across the business
  • Full ownership of the month-end processes across all group companies
  • Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts, with input from your team, to prepare MI packs for presentation to respective stakeholders
  • Provide financial support and liaison to other departments across the group
  • Lead people through Training & Culture - to provide professional leadership and direction to the accounts / finance teams, allowing colleagues to develop and nurture whilst exceeding on performance.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure maximum business-wide profitability

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in finance and accounting
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
