Child Protection Team Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Child Protection Team Manager to join our team in Lambeth, South London. As a key member of our Child Protection Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of social workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of social workers in delivering and implementing policies, procedures, and future changes in the service.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to frontline staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver excellent services.
  • Work closely with senior management to advise on strategy, policy, and future direction of the service.
  • Ensure that services are delivered in accordance with government policy, legislation, council policies, and departmental procedures.
  • Lead responsibility for meeting performance targets of the team and reporting to managers and staff as required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years post-qualified experience as a social worker.
  • Proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to challenges and demands with pace and compassion.
