Building Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Design Team Leader to join our award-winning house builder in Weymouth. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing the drawing office team to convert architects' approved plans and prepare building regulation applications.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all building regulation drawings meet quality and technical standards.
- Communicate with structural engineers for new adaptations and collaborate with architects, local Council, and external consultants as required.
- Work with approved infrastructure consultants to transfer their design of roads, sewers, and retaining walls.
- Collaborate with site management teams to ensure timely information provision according to the build program.
- Coordinate with a qualified SAP assessor to transfer designed assessments into plot designs to meet regulations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a similar role within housebuilding and possess a good knowledge of CAD and building regulations. A SAP assessment qualification is desirable but not essential.
