Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the temporary accommodation team, including completing paperwork and applications for housing providers.
  • Work with households in emergency accommodation to identify and address their needs, ensuring a timely move on into sustainable accommodation.
  • Support the team in preventing homelessness, chasing documents, and ensuring paperwork is completed.
  • Provide the first point of contact within the reception area of the team, responding to queries and providing information to customers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a housing or support-related field.
  • Knowledge of the benefit system, including housing benefits and universal credit.
  • A willingness to be flexible in a changing environment.
