Datacenter Infrastructure Project Manager

Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO&I, the Datacenter Engineering (DCE) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business.
SalaryThe estimated salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Project Manager to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services. In this role, you will be responsible for developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and ensuring project milestones are met.
Responsibilities- Planning: Develop IMS, work with cross-functional teams, monitor project risks, and develop contingency plans.
- General Contractor (GC) Procurement & Construction Schedule Baseline Management: Facilitate GC baseline schedule development, ensure compliance with MSFT standards, and evaluate proposals.
- Schedule Analysis and Reporting: Analyze schedules, validate progress, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations to recover or control impacts.
You will work closely with clients, engineers, procurement teams, and construction staff to ensure project outcomes meet expectations. You will also develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and continuously improve project management processes and tools.
Required Skills and QualificationsExperience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, with a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development. Significant experience managing large-scale capital projects in data center, oil and gas, or chemicals industries is preferred.
