Cloud Infrastructure Delivery Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Delivery Manager to join our team in Amazon. As a key member of our New Regions Enablement team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful launch of new datacenters by coordinating the delivery of datacenter infrastructure.
Your primary focus will be on driving consensus across the supply chain for acceptable risk levels and best practices. You will also develop technical solutions to ensure timely delivery of datacenter infrastructure, working closely with internal and external organizations to anticipate gaps between teams, processes, and system architectures.
As a thought leader in the field of cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and supply chain operations, you will articulate key issues and strategic initiatives for senior leadership in writing. Your daily activities will involve partnering with teams to understand specific types and quantities of datacenter infrastructure needed, working to ensure their needs are met, and serving as an escalation point for supply chain risk management and supply chain security issues.
About the TeamThis position is part of the New Regions Enablement team, which focuses on making sure new datacenters receive racks, servers, and other infrastructure to launch on time. The larger organization has teams performing manufacturing, logistics, and reverse/recycling operations, and we work across those teams to coordinate successful on-time, in-full delivery of datacenter infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Drive consensus for acceptable levels for risks and best practices across the supply chain.
- Develop technical solutions to ensure datacenter infrastructure is delivered on-time, in-full to support new region launches.
- Proactively work with other organizations to anticipate gaps between teams, processes, and system architectures.
- Articulate key issues and strategic initiatives for senior leadership in writing.
- Act as a thought and business leader in the field of cybersecurity, supply chain risk management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in technical product or program management.
- Experience in Supply Chain Risk Management.
- Knowledge of datacenter infrastructure.
$140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
