Job Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) professional to join our team at Commify. This key role is responsible for ensuring global regulatory compliance and implementing risk management strategies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement governance mechanisms to ensure visibility and escalation of risks and issues impacting regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Support stakeholders in navigating regulatory requirements and issues to ensure compliance.
  • Oversee risk identification, calibration, and management activities to inform senior stakeholders on their risk landscape, appetite, and mitigation paths.
  • Manage the global Risk Register and maintain accurate information.
  • Ensure a clear understanding of regulatory obligations for each territory Commify operates in by maintaining a comprehensive regulations library.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to resolve incidents impacting regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate attestations and regulatory audits across our global footprint.
  • Implement training to enhance colleagues' knowledge and understanding of regulatory obligations, compliance requirements, and policy content.
  • Perform horizon scanning to identify and intercept potential changes in our regulatory landscape.
  • Stay up to date with the latest compliance standards and best practices.

About You:

  • Extensive experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Experience operating a risk management framework across multiple entities and territories, including risk appetite and impact/likelihood calibration.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards such as GDPR, PECR, HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, NIST, DORA, and ISO27001, including implementation and monitoring strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to summarise and present complex concepts to senior leadership.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with colleagues across multiple locations and time zones where required.
