Progressive Resource is seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team as a Night Shift Nurse in a nursing home setting. As a Night Shift Nurse, you will be responsible for administering and managing medication rounds, providing high-quality care to residents, and collaborating closely with the Deputy Manager to oversee resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and manage medication rounds in accordance with care plans and regulatory standards.
• Provide high-quality care to residents during night shifts, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Work independently without supervision, demonstrating excellent clinical skills and decision-making abilities.
• Collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager to oversee resident care and address any issues during the shift.
Requirements:
• Must be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN (Nursing and Midwifery Council).
• A minimum of five years of experience as an RGN, ideally within a nursing home setting.
• Strong knowledge of medication management and delivering person-centred care.
• Ability to work autonomously during night shifts, managing responsibilities effectively.
