About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at United Living Group. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the HSE Officer in managing and maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to all HSE management systems and adopting a customer-focused approach.
  • Learn on the job and gain experience in health and safety management, including reporting, document control, and audit procedures.
  • Support the HSE Officer in developing and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Collaborate with the HSE Officer to ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate records, analysis of health and safety data, and compilation of reports.
  • Participate in site safety audits, collate information, and maintain the audit matrix.
  • Encourage the reporting of hazards and incidents/accidents and attend internal health and safety meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HSE Officer.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4-9/A*-C, including English and Maths.
  • Good IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A UK driving licence (or be actively progressing towards obtaining a licence).
  • The ability to travel within the UK, including some overnight stays.
  • The commitment to live and breathe our company values and the motivation and dedication to successfully complete your apprenticeship programme.
