Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and suitably qualified Physiotherapist to join our Musculoskeletal (MSK) Outpatient Physiotherapy service at University College Hospital (UCH). As a key member of our team, you will work alongside senior clinicians to co-ordinate and evaluate the MSK Physiotherapy service, with opportunities to advance and progress service development.

You will work closely with the wider surgical, medical, and nursing teams to contribute to and shape the delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and effective MSK outpatient service. Your caseload will consist of orthopaedic and rheumatology patients, including those with complex chronic musculoskeletal conditions, fractures, post-op rehabilitation, and sports injuries.

Main Duties

As a skilled clinician and leader, you will be responsible for facilitating evidence-informed patient care, implementing, facilitating, and developing physiotherapy best practice in line with local and national guidelines. You will also supervise and appraise junior staff, mentor student physiotherapists, and contribute to the education and training of less experienced physiotherapy staff.
