Job Overview:


First Military Recruitment Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated HGV Transport Specialist to join our growing team in Perthshire.


The HGV Transport Specialist will be responsible for executing removal and storage operations utilizing company vehicles and equipment, while ensuring a professional representation of the company to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct UK direct road removals as part of a removal team.
2. Participate in packing or unpacking teams for deep-sea exports or imports of household items.
3. Execute UK commercial and office road removals and storage tasks.
4. Assume the role of Job Foreman for the aforementioned activities when necessary.
5. Load and unload storage containers from company vehicles as required, using a forklift truck (subject to authorization and certification).

6. Maintain agreed schedules with clients, promptly informing branch management and customers of any necessary changes.

7. Complete all paperwork related to daily operations accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring it is returned to the office promptly.
8. Keep company vehicles and equipment in a clean, serviceable, and roadworthy condition.
9. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers when acting as Job Foreman.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Class 2 (Cat C) driving license
- Clean driving record
- CPC and digital tachograph certification
- Physically fit and capable
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
