About the Role

Manpower UK Ltd is recruiting Class 2 Drivers to join our client's workforce based in Perth. In this role, you will be responsible for the collection and safe transportation of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment across various locations in Scotland.

You will operate company vehicles to collect the waste from various commercial, industrial, waste sites, and residential locations nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow planned routes and schedules provided by the operations team
  • Ensure safe loading, securing, and unloading of waste to avoid damage and maintain compliance with safety standards
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure the vehicle is in good working order before beginning the route
  • Load and unload waste manually or with mechanical assistance, ensuring all items are handled safely and efficiently
Requirements
  • Cat C Licence, DCPC, and Digital Tachograph
  • 1+ year HGV driving experience
  • Able to competently and safely operate assigned vehicles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform vehicle inspections
Desirable Skills
  • ADR - Qualification for driving dangerous goods
  • A strong commitment to environmental responsibility
  • Previous experience in waste collection, logistics, or a related field
  • Knowledge of WEEE waste regulations and handling procedures
