Lorry Driver

Scotfast Haulage is looking for a hard-working individual with a “let’s do this” attitude to join our team to support our operation, delivering goods and plant to our teams and our customers. Working with our low loader, walking floor trailer and curtain sider.

This role is full time, working Monday to Friday with overnight stops, with weekend working every 6 weeks. Drivers will be expected to return the HGV to our yard in Errol at the end of each week. An overnight allowance will be provided for each night staying away.

**Essential Skills/Qualifications**:

- HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driving license
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Drivers CPC Card
- Ability to travel all over the U.K. each week. This is an 'on the road' role.
- Ability to demonstrate great awareness of drivers' hours legislation and good record keeping skills.
- Ensure work is carried out safely, correctly, and efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Able to follow directions from the head office.
- Ability to manage lone working for extended periods of time.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Carry our small maintenance tasks and roadworthiness checks on your vehicle.
- Be aware of and adopt fuel efficient driving techniques.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to operate trailers
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents

**Salary**: £14.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
