Deputy Examinations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Examinations Manager to join our team at Oxford Brookes University. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of casual invigilation staff to deliver examination sessions throughout the year. This will include assisting the Examinations Manager in ensuring smooth examination sessions, supervising administrative staff, and taking responsibility for financial administration using the finance software E5.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing or supervising large examinations at a school, college, or university, as well as substantial experience working in administration, ideally in an educational institution. They will also have experience in management or supervision of staff, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team.
This is a permanent, full-time post, with consideration given for a 0.8FTE appointment. The role will require onsite working for exam sessions and the lead-up to exams, with agile working arrangements in place for the rest of the year.
