Mitsubishi Power Europe is a leading provider of power generation solutions, and we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Graduate Customer Support Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

The Graduate Customer Support Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers, solving complex technical problems, and supporting maintenance activities. This is a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily technical assistance to customers, including solutions to technical matters and support during maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader to ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of our customers' operating assets.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, and Generators, and represent the company during planned inspections.
  • Solve customer problems, both internal and external, and write and revise Quality Management procedures as needed.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time to support emergency issue resolution.
  • Work autonomously, take lead in development of solutions, and deliver under pressure and with tight deadlines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with exposure in Steam Turbine design, operation, repair, service, installation, or commissioning.
  • Experience in developing and writing specifications and/or proposals.
  • Effective customer service skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability and adept at communicating with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient technical report writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with people from different cultures and nationalities.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and simulation software.
  • Fluency in business English.
