Job Summary

Mitsubishi Power Europe is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Customer Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Support Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to our customers, solving complex technical issues, and supporting maintenance activities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a focus on steam turbine design, operation, and maintenance. You will be responsible for communicating effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support and resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance to customers via phone, email, or on-site visits.
  • Solve complex technical issues related to steam turbine operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to customer problems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including procedures and guides.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  • Travel to customer sites (approximately 50% of the time) to provide on-site support and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing timely and effective support.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in business English.
