About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist for Smart Devices to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our smart devices and ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, user experience, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to qualify and prepare for the release of Ring products and companion applications.
  • Develop test plans and test cases mapping to product requirements and technical implementations.
  • Evolve team methodologies for implementing, testing, and deploying solutions.
  • Actively contribute to QA support functions, including triage, issue troubleshooting, API tracing, and production release testing.
  • Participate in design discussions, planning, retrospective reviews, and triage/prioritization of defects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field.
  • Multiple years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • Experience in embedded testing.
  • Experience in automating UI and API tests cases in one or more scripting languages.
  • Experience in coordinating with cross-functional teams and developing test plans and test cases.
  • Knowledge of IoT device development or testing, specifically Home Security Systems.
