Job Title: Registrar
Role Overview:
The Registrar will be responsible for providing the statutory registration service for births, stillbirths, deaths, civil partnerships, and marriages, including conducting marriage ceremonies and associated duties within the Borough. They will also conduct citizenship ceremonies and nationality services in accordance with statutory and non-statutory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide an efficient and effective registration service for marriages in any venue specified by the Council.
- Register or conduct deathbed marriages.
- Provide an efficient and effective registration service for births, deaths, notice of marriage, and other services.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and administrative skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
