Home-based Fostering Team Lead

We are a highly regarded fostering agency, operating as a non-profit charity in East London. As a locum part-time Supervising Social Worker, you will be working with our team to provide support and guidance to foster carers and families.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children looked after and their foster carers or in a children's team for placements. You must be a Qualified Social Worker registered with HCPC.
This role involves working remotely, visiting foster carers and families as required. We offer a supportive team environment that values work-life balance for staff. Our hourly rate is £30 per hour, and mileage reimbursement is £0.45 per mile door-to-door.
As a member of our team, you will benefit from low caseloads, robust induction, and a therapeutic foster care approach. You will also have the opportunity to learn and grow within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and guidance to foster carers
- Visit foster carers and families as required
- Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth operations
