Fostering Career Development Officer

Olive Branch Fostering seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Placement Specialist to join our team. This exciting opportunity will allow you to utilise your skills in sales, customer care, or account management to support the highest possible standard of appropriate placements for children and young people.
The role involves working closely with Local Authority Placement Teams to identify placement and service solutions. As a Senior Placement Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining a database of information relating to referrals, children, young people, and Foster Carers, including records of movements of children within the agency.
We are looking for an individual who can provide support to less experienced placement officers, giving advice and guidance where required. You will also liaise with operational teams and support planning around vacancies whilst ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the service.
In consultation with the Placement Manager, you will ensure that each child or young person placed with Olive Branch Fostering is carefully matched with a Foster Carer capable of meeting their needs.
As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable people in our care. Your commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children will be paramount in this role.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
