Financial Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances.
  • Prepare and publish monthly financial statements, ensuring accurate recording, filing, and reporting of all transactions.
  • Develop and maintain compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
  • Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Streamline and improve operations and accounting systems, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Coordinate the management of cash flow, debt, and debt collection, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Oversee the audit process, liaising with external personnel as required.
  • Support the business with financial strategy and decision-making processes, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements:
  • Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or highly experienced QBE professional.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent personal and communication skills, with confident leadership and management abilities.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence at all levels.
