Practice Nurse Vacancy

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our experienced team at Redwood House Surgery. As a skilled healthcare professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients.

This part-time position involves working in a large nurse room setting, managing chronic health conditions, and providing treatment room services. Our supportive environment offers a friendly and established nursing team, as well as GPs and administrative staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience in respiratory management or diabetes, be a qualified Nurse Prescriber, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role

You will contribute to the development of practice policies and strategies, adhering to guidelines, policies, and procedures, and maintaining infection control standards. This role also involves working with a diverse range of patients, including those with respiratory conditions such as asthma and COPD.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage respiratory conditions, including asthma and COPD.
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including wound care, dressings, leg ulcer care, ear syringing, ECGs, phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, childhood and adult immunisations, and travel health planning services.
