Temporary Support Worker - Loughborough (BR) - Maternity Leave

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Loughborough, covering a maternity leave position for 9-12 months.

The successful candidate will work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts, including two weekends per month. Shift patterns include 07:30-15:00 and 14:30-22:00.

As a Support Worker, you will provide exceptional support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to live independently and confidently. Your role will involve:

  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, showering, and using the bathroom.
  • Supporting individuals to manage their daily lives, including budgeting, paying bills, and cooking healthy meals.
  • Developing strong relationships and communication skills to promote positive interactions and understanding.
  • Encouraging community participation and social inclusion, helping individuals to access local events and activities.
