Job Title: Hygiene Team Member

Join KP Snacks, a leading manufacturer of savoury snacks, as a Hygiene Team Member. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in Pontefract.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual to carry out routine hygiene duties within our factory and outside yard areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out high-level cleaning, including safe operation of the scissor lift to access high-level ceiling vents, pipes, etc.
  • Completion of hygiene records and conducting dynamic risk assessments to ensure own and others' health and safety.
  • Ensure facilities are at a good standard to meet audit requirements (e.g. AIB, BRC, Tesco, etc.).
  • Carrying out general facilities hygiene duties, including waste collection, recycling, and segregation of waste into the correct streams.
  • Cleaning of external areas of the factory, including waste segregation, cleaning of spillage to ensure pests are kept at bay, and removal of unnecessary items.
  • Supporting warehouse with inbound deliveries of maize, sugar, etc. (in exceptional circumstances and with correct training).
  • Ensuring the factory fabrication and facilities are kept to a high cleanliness standard and meet all GMP requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Basic Health and Safety and Basic Food Hygiene qualifications.
  • FLT Counterbalance License.
Working Hours

2 Shift Rotation: Monday to Thursday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm, Friday: 6am to 1pm / 1pm to 8pm.
