Job Title: Lead Arboriculture Supervisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Arboriculture Supervisor to join our team at S.P. Landscapes & Tree Contractors Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in arboriculture to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead and supervise a team of arborists in performing tree care tasks, including pruning, removals, and planting.
  • To conduct site surveys and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop plans for safe work practices.
  • To oversee the maintenance and upkeep of company equipment and vehicles.
  • To collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in arboriculture, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, such as NPTC qualifications or City & Guilds certificates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • A strong understanding of health and safety protocols and regulations.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £38,750 - £43,750 per annum, based on experience.
  • 28 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day every 2 years up to a maximum of 33 days after 10 years' service.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the agreed hourly rate for any hours worked beyond the standard working week.
  • All company clothing and PPE provided.
