Lead Arborist

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Arborist to join our team as a Team Supervisor.
This role will involve managing a team of tree surgeons and providing guidance on best practices, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of trees, pruning techniques, and health and safety procedures, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe key responsibilities of this role include:
- Managing a team of tree surgeons and providing guidance on best practices
- Ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards
- Providing input on the development of new equipment and training programs
- Maintaining accurate records and reports
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A full driving license and relevant chainsaw and climbing qualifications
- A strong knowledge of trees, pruning techniques, and health and safety procedures
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including 28 days annual leave, increasing by 1 day every 2 years up to a maximum of 33 days after 10 years' service. We also provide all company clothing and PPE, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.
