Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and inspirational Teaching Assistants to join our team at Excell Supply. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children aged 3-11 in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with groups of children to support their learning and development
  • Follow instructions and guidance provided by the class teacher
  • Ensure children's safety and well-being
  • Supervise children during playtime and lunchtime
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources
  • Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher on children's learning
  • Effectively manage off-task behaviours
Requirements:
  • Hold Teaching Assistant Level 1, 2, or 3 qualifications (desirable but not essential)
  • Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner with a focus on children's well-being
  • Have high expectations for pupils' achievement and behaviour
  • Possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills
