Stacatruc East is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team in Norwich.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a range of material handling equipment, including gas, diesel, and electric powered forklift trucks.
A competitive salary of £32,000 per annum is on offer, along with attractive company pension benefits and 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities will include:
- Servicing and maintenance of forklift trucks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and thorough examinations.
- Battery maintenance, including checking voltages and fluid levels.
- Responding to breakdowns and liaising with customers to minimize downtime.
- Liaising with the parts team to ensure stock levels are maintained.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical and mechanical engineering, diagnostic computer skills, and a City and Guilds qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. A full UK driving license is also essential.
