Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Coloradomountaincollege team as a highly skilled Park Ranger Specialist. We are seeking an experienced professional to fill this critical role, which involves staffing high camps and performing climbing patrols on Mount Rainier.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting training and teaching advanced mountaineering techniques, performing alpine rescues, and overseeing daily operations of up to 10 rangers. This role also involves mentoring individual rangers, making visitor contacts, and ensuring that visitors comply with park regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staffing high camps and performing climbing patrols on Mount Rainier
  • Conducting training and teaching advanced mountaineering techniques
  • Performing alpine rescues and emergency medical services
  • Overseeing daily operations of up to 10 rangers

Salary and Benefits
