Park Ranger (Alpine Rescue and Mountaineering)
This highly specialized position requires Park Rangers to lead high camps and conduct climbing patrols on Mount Rainier.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering advanced mountaineering training programs
- Executing alpine rescues, providing emergency medical services, and performing helicopter insertion and extraction techniques
- Mentoring and overseeing daily operations of up to 10 rangers
The selected candidate will work in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision provided by a GS-11 supervisor.
