About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing debtor's ledgers, ensuring debt is collected from customers within credit terms, and building strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth running of accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage debtor's ledgers and ensure debt is collected from customers within credit terms.
  2. Post and allocate payments received to ledgers in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure smooth running of accounts.
  4. Evaluate new credit requests, including contacting trade references.
  5. Create and set up new customers on ledgers.
  6. Provide weekly/monthly reporting on key measurement and performance statistics.
  7. Report to Financial Controllers on a weekly basis.
  8. Document procedures and identify opportunities to improve Credit Control management.
  9. Liaise with Sales Managers/Customer Services team.
  10. Reconcile and review customer accounts.
