We're working with a leading manufacturer in Tredegar who are looking for a skilled maintenance professional to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as carrying out planned preventative maintenance and improvement schemes.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position that involves working Days & Afternoons Monday to Thursday (2 weeks of 6.30am – 4.15 pm Mon – Thurs and 1 week of afternoons 11.30am- 9.15 Mon – Thurs on a rotating pattern).

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve equipment breakdowns.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and improvement schemes on equipment.
  • Support the Maintenance Foreman in achieving all maintenance tasks.
Requirements

The ideal candidate must have good electrical & mechanical skills/understanding to tackle breakdowns, proactive maintenance, preventative maintenance, and improvements.

Familiarity with fault finding in panels, inverters, motors, switchgear, installation work, P.L.Cs (Siemens S5 & S7) is required.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
