Clinical Healthcare Leader for Prison Health Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Leader to join our team at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services in a prison setting.
As a senior leader, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our prison health services, working closely with clinicians, patients, and their carers to ensure that we provide the best possible care.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of managing teams and leading service development, implementation, and change management. You will also have expertise in models of care for primary care within secure environments and knowledge of current issues facing prison healthcare.

About the Role
- Lead the development and implementation of our integrated healthcare services for prisons, ensuring high-quality care and improved outcomes for patients.
- Provide expert clinical leadership to our primary care teams, promoting evidence-based practice and innovative approaches to care delivery.
- Work closely with colleagues across the trust to develop and implement service changes, improving the overall quality of care.
- Collaborate with local authorities, charities, and other stakeholders to promote the well-being of patients and communities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with staff, patients, and families, fostering a culture of respect, compassion, and inclusivity.
Requirements
- Registered RGN with Non-Medical Prescribing qualification.
- Postgraduate ACP qualification or equivalent.
- Middle management experience in a multidisciplinary team delivering primary care services.
- Experience of managing staff, service development, and implementation.
- Knowledge of current issues and agendas facing prison healthcare.
