SEN Teaching Assistant

Zen Educate is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Newton Abbot. As a dedicated and passionate professional, you will play a vital role in supporting learners with special educational needs, both inside and outside the classroom.
About the Role:This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their skills and knowledge necessary to become an exceptional Teaching Assistant. You will be responsible for implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and personalized learning strategies, collaborating with teachers and professionals, assisting with personal care tasks, and helping learners develop social and emotional skills.
Requirements:- Experience working with learners who have speech and language disabilities and autism
- Knowledge of relevant teaching strategies and resources
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting children with SEN
