Job Title: School Behaviour Support Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to work closely with students, teachers, and school staff to create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-on-one and group support to students who may be struggling with behaviour management, helping them engage more effectively in their learning.
* Develop strategies to manage challenging behaviours, using a range of de-escalation techniques and positive reinforcement.
* Promote and model positive behaviour expectations, helping students develop social and emotional skills.
* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a safe and structured classroom environment, contributing to an inclusive school culture.
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay informed on best practices for behaviour support in educational settings.

Requirements:

* Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Relevant qualifications in Education, Psychology, Counselling, or similar fields are advantageous but not essential.
