Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Catering Manager to join our team. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Management
- Motivate and manage a team of staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food production.
- Recruit, induct, train, and support colleagues to deliver an efficient and high-quality service.
- Financial Management
- Manage a budget to ensure the efficient operation of our catering services.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting, and client liaison.
- Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Requirements
- Experience
- Proven experience of successfully managing a team.
- Skills
- Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
- A strong team player, highly confident and positive.
- Self-motivated and innovative.
- Previous experience within management, contract catering desirable.
