About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Supply Teacher to join our team at Thrive Education Recruitment Ltd. As a Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned work/lessons to a variety of year groups in schools across Cam, Dursley, and the surrounding villages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth.
  • Work collaboratively with regular teaching assistants to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Effectively manage pupil behavior and maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
  • Utilize secure subject knowledge to support learning and address individual needs.
  • Adhere to school policies regarding behavior management systems and maintain open communication with colleagues.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning community.
Requirements
  • Valid teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS).
  • A nurturing and caring approach with young people.
  • A DBS on the update service or a DBS issued within the last 12 months.
  • Two teaching references.
What We Offer
  • A daily Supply Teacher rate of up to £153.84 per day, equating to £29,998 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year.
