We are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work with students aged 16-25 at our specialised college.

About the Role

This position involves providing essential support to students who face challenges related to their emotional and behavioural needs.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with students to develop their academic, social, and emotional skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique needs.
  • Employ positive reinforcement techniques to manage challenging behaviours.
  • Support students in developing their independence and self-advocacy skills.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their personal development.
  • Current safeguarding training is highly desirable.
  • An enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or a willingness to process a new application.

Successful applicants can expect a daily salary of £95 - £105, making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people.
