Electrical Installation Apprenticeship Tutor Opportunity

North Hertfordshire College, in partnership with Hart Employment Services, is seeking a dedicated and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor/Assessor to join our team. As a leading educational institution, we are committed to providing high-quality learning experiences for our students and supporting their success.

We are looking for an individual who can deliver exceptional training and support to our apprentices, focusing on work-based learning and ensuring learners are equipped with the skills needed to thrive in the electrical industry.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver training sessions across the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard, approximately 1-2 days per week, and manage a caseload of apprentices, monitoring their progress and offering guidance throughout the programme. They will also ensure a safe and supportive learning environment, addressing any risks or concerns.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering engaging training sessions across the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Managing a caseload of apprentices and monitoring their progress
  • Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:
  • GCSE A*-C (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Strong observation and coaching skills to guide learners through their Apprenticeship
