Apprenticeship Tutor/Electrical Skills Trainer

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Apprenticeship Tutor/Electrical Skills Trainer to join our team at North Hertfordshire College. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment to our learners, helping them to achieve their full potential and succeed in their chosen careers.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, delivering electrical apprenticeships and vocational training to learners across the region. As an Apprenticeship Tutor/Electrical Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing electrical training programs, ensuring that learners meet the required standards and achieve their qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality electrical training and assessment to learners, ensuring that they meet the required standards and achieve their qualifications.
  • Plan and deliver electrical training programs, including the development of learning materials and resources.
  • Assess learner competence and provide feedback to support their progress and development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of electrical training policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that learners receive a high-quality training experience.
Requirements
  • Qualified Electrician with 18th Edition and AM2.
  • Relevant occupational competence through qualifications and/or job experience.
  • GCSE A*-C or equivalent in maths and English.
  • Assessment and verification qualifications desirable.
  • Hold vocational assessors award – TAQA.
