About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil and Structural Engineering Specialist to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our Property and Buildings business, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake structural engineering design for discrete packages of work, including the production of reports, calculation packages, and specifications.
  • Supervise technicians in the production of 3D models and drawings that clearly communicate structural engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, including external consultants, to contribute to the overall success of projects.
  • Develop and apply knowledge of structural engineering principles and Eurocodes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree and progressing towards Chartered status (MIStructE / MICE).
  • Working knowledge of structural engineering principles and the application of Eurocodes.
  • Developing understanding of analytical techniques and design software.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
