About the Role
Cathay Investments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to join our central accounts team. As a Financial Assistant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor and reconcile financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Process bank payments and manage cash flow.
- Assist with month-end finance processes and provide information to auditors as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team, including data entry and document management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least two years of experience in an accounts team or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Sage 50 or Sage 200 accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- A strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
