About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to join our team at STR Group. As an Apprentice Procurement Administrator, you will be responsible for purchasing goods and services within approved guidelines to ensure that the company's operational needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing of goods and services within approved guidelines
- Researching suppliers, negotiating terms and pricing for various goods/services
- Management of new and existing suppliers for indirect purchasing requirements
- Use of purchasing system (ideally SAP) for raising requisitions/PO's/running reports/checking invoices and monitoring purchase orders
- Able to travel within the UK and abroad to meet with suppliers, distributors and manufacturers as required
Requirements:
- 4+ Years purchasing experience
- Experience of computerised purchasing system (preferably SAP)
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook essential)
