Key Responsibilities
As a Peripatetic Deputy General Manager (Clinical) at Barchester Healthcare, you will be responsible for managing and developing teams in various care homes across your region. Your primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and service, aligning with our organization's standards.
You will work closely with the General Manager or hiring manager to implement action plans that cater to the needs of our residents. This will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that every resident receives the best possible quality of life.
As a leader, you will be responsible for motivating your team, monitoring care standards, and conducting regular audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Your role will also involve developing and delivering strategies to achieve your goals, setting the highest standards for yourself and your team.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. Previous experience in a nursing home setting is essential, and evidence of continual professional development is required.
You will also need to have experience in helping residents with different health needs, managing safeguarding investigations, and conducting clinical risk assessments. Additionally, a strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship is desirable.
