We are partnering with a Local Authority in Rotherham to assist with the appointment of a HHSRS Property Inspector on a 3-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension at the client's discretion. Please submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: Hourly Rate

Responsibilities:

  • The contractor will be provided with a list of geographically similar properties, including landlord contact information.
  • The Authority will contact the landlord and tenant via a S239 appointment letter, providing notice of inspection within a one-week window.
  • The contractor will manage their own appointments and provide a direct mobile phone number for residents and landlords to ensure ease of contact and effective communication.
  • The Council will provide a Google-based app for mobile inspections recording.
  • The Council will provide training on the use of the app prior to any inspections being offered.

Requirements:

  • Contractors must act professionally, including dressing smartly and maintaining courtesy towards clients and colleagues.

  • You should be available to work immediately or at short notice.
  • You should have the right to work in the UK.
