The role of Senior Mechanical Estimator at David Leslie Ltd presents a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to join a leading Mechanical and Electrical Building Services contractor in central London.

As part of the estimating team, you will be responsible for tendering mechanical services projects with values ranging from £500,000 to £10 million. This involves analyzing project specifications, drawings, and related documents to determine the scope of work and necessary materials.

You will conduct thorough analyses of project requirements to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with project managers and the pre-construction team to gather relevant information for accurate estimates.

An essential aspect of this role is reviewing and assessing bids and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing. You will also maintain and update a database of cost estimates and historical project data, as well as assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.

To succeed in this position, you will require minimum 8 years' experience as a Mechanical Estimator, with expertise in tendering mechanical building services projects within the specified value range. Excellent communication and negotiating skills are also essential.

In return for your expertise, you can expect a salary of £80,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on your experience, plus an annual bonus, private healthcare, pension options, company events, phone and laptop, 22 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and training and development opportunities.
