Job Details

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is seeking a Junior Delivery Manager to join our Digital Data and Technology (DDaT) Directorate. As a Junior Delivery Manager, you will support our Delivery Managers in the day-to-day management of the Delivery Team(s), removing blockers and tracking progress.

This is a Junior role, so we're looking for someone with a strong desire to develop a long-term career in Delivery Management. You'll have a proactive approach to self-development and learning. We'll offer support, mentoring and coaching to put you in the best position to apply for a Band 7 Delivery Manager position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating a multidisciplinary scrum team
  • Facilitating Ceremonies - daily stand-up, retrospective sprint review, sprint planning and backlog refinement
  • Delivery of products in-line with project and sprint goals
  • Supporting, continually improving and maintaining a motivated self-organising team
  • Identifying blockers and helping the team to overcome them
  • Tracking and reporting of progress
