About the Role
BAE Systems is seeking a skilled Chief Safety Requirements Strategist to join their Dreadnought Combat Systems Safety Engineering Team. This exciting opportunity allows you to leverage your knowledge and experience in requirements management to make a real difference.

Job Description
This role involves managing safety requirements from whole boat to combat systems, providing specialist support in gap analysis, and delivering reports to Senior Engineering Managers. You will be responsible for liaising with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers regarding safety requirements, as well as ensuring compliance with defence contract regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you will need:
• Experience using DOORS
• Strong safety requirements management skills with expertise in V cycle management
• Degree or relevant level of experience in requirements management
• Defence contract experience
• Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills
• Familiarity with Safety FHAs, FTAs, PSSAs, and Safety Fault Schedules
