Job Title

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Chief Pharmacist at Frimley NHS Trust.

  • The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for pharmacy services, act as the Superintendent Pharmacist, and deliver expert medicines management advice to the Chief Executive and Board.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional leadership for pharmacy services, fulfilling the statutory and ethical requirements of the Superintendent Pharmacist role as defined by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Being accountable for the delivery of pharmacy services aligned with the Trust's strategic direction, ensuring they are patient-focused, safe, efficient, and responsive to internal and external demands.
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans for pharmacy services and overseeing clinical governance, including risk management.
